The representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Magdeburg (IHK) visited MWSLiT on 12^th-13^th January 2010. During the meeting the plans for future cooperation were discusses with the School authorities. One of the main issues concerned the two conferences planned for  this year and to be organized with the help of German scientific centers and economic institutions. On 21^st-22^nd October 2009 the Chancellor and the Dean of MWSLiT, invited by the the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Magdeburg (IHK), visited Magdeburg and Halle. During their stay in Germany, the School authorities attended a conference organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Halle Dessau. The conference referred to hazardous materials transportation and the participation in individual sessions helped in acknowledging the updated regulations on hazardous materials transportation and resulting difficulties.  The conference was also attended by our partners from the University of Zilina in Slovak Republic.

On 26^th August 2009 the University authorities - the Chancellor  Janusz Paweska nad the Dean Agnieszka Tubis – participated in Logistics Forum Central Germany in Leipzig. The Forum focused on further perspectives of development for German industry. The opening speech emphasised the fact, the one of the steps to be taken in order to overcome the crisis is to get ready to cooperation with Poland (If you want to make business, do it only in Wrocław, if you want to go on holiday – Mazury are the best – as one of the Logistics Forum’s speakers put it). Thanks to the participation in the Forum, our University authorities had the opportunity to meet and talk with Mr. Karl-Heinz Daehre, the Minister of Development and Transport for Saxony-Anhalt.
