Every year International University of Logistics and Transport actively participates in organization of the Francophone Days, that take place in Spring. During these days (15^th-27^th of March) artistic, cultural and scientific events take place and their main objective is to promote French culture, language and lifestyle. MWSLiT organizes a discussion about a French model of education and its application in Poland.

The representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Magdeburg (IHK) visited MWSLiT on 12^th-13^th January 2010. During the meeting the plans for future cooperation were discusses with the University authorities. One of the main issues concerned the two conferences planned for  this year and to be organized with the help of German scientific centers and economic institutions. The conferences are scheduled for September and October 2010. More information about these events can be found on the website www.konferencja.msl.com.pl

On 28-29 November it was our great honour to receive a visit of Mr. Thierry Houe, a professor from our partner ICN Business School, Nancy, Metz, France. Mr. Houe delivered a lecture on logistic chains, logistic networks and logistic projects management. The audience were our students of postgraduate courses.

The lecture was delivered in French and our School provided a consecutive translator into Polish. Students who attended the lecture were given in advance the materials prepared by Mr. Houe and translated into Polish.

A visit of Mr. Houe is an example of partnership activities resulting from the agreement which was signed in June 2009. It must be emphasized that thanks to such lectures our students, as the only ones in Wrocław, have the possibility to make use of the French partner’s business knowledge and experience.

At the end of November 2009, Igor Syerykh („Ukrainian European Community Studies Association”) and Mykola Smolinsky („European Movement: Ukraine”), the representatives of the Ukrainian non-governmental organization visited MWSLiT. The aim of the visit was to start cooperation with MWSLiT because of its interesting educational offer.
