14–15.12.2009 Wroclaw University organized a conference “Fatal Transactions — China`s quest for African resources: the new scramble or strategic partnership?”. The main subject of discussions were Chinese-African relations and the Chinese policy of getting access to Africa’s natural resources. Among many international academics attending the conference there was a representative of our School.

The XIII all - Polish conference Total Logistic Management took place in Zakopane on 25 -28 Nov. 2009. Traditionally the goal was to bridge a gap between theoreticians of economic and engineering perspective and practitioners, professionals working for logistic companies. As usually several academics of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw attended the conference — prof. Stanisław Krawczyk, prof. Tomasz Nowakowski, PhD Agnieszka Tubis, PhD Natalia Szozda, PhD Sylwia Werbińska.
